Green Acres

Beautiful and Peaceful getaway for me and my family loved that we were able to stargaze together and make memories

Green Acres was exactly what we were hoping for. The house is spacious and well laid out, with a big open kitchen and beautiful stained concrete floors throughout. Our group had plenty of room to spread out.
The setting is what made it special. It is genuinely quiet out there. We spent time stargazing at night and the sky was incredible, no light pollution and complete silence. Hard to find that anymore.
Communication with the Casago Highland Lakes team was excellent. Quick responses every time we reached out, and they were flexible and easy to work with when our plans shifted before the trip.
The location in Hye puts you in the middle of Hill Country calm while still being close to the wineries and Fredericksburg.
We will absolutely be back to this property.

We enjoyed our stay at the house and the peaceful serene setting. It was perfect for our family get together. The house is well stocked and clean. The master bedroom is on the first floor with an en suite bathroom which has a nice, roomy closet. There is also a small room on the first floor, off the living room, with a twin trundle bed. That room has curtains instead of a door but worked for us and was not a problem for the person sleeping in that room. Upstairs in the loft, there is a shared bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo in the middle of two separate rooms. One room has 1 bed and the other room has two sets of bunkbeds. Both rooms upstairs have doors and full privacy. There is also a casita with a bed, kitchenette and full bathroom. The casita has a screened in porch attached which is a great spot to hang out in. Between the house and casita is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Sitting outside at night stargazing was the perfect way to end each day. Great stay!
